Web Design and Development

We always give upfront estimates, and never go over an estimate without your approval.

  • Custom Business Card Websites typically start at around $150-$350+ for a one page website including custom design, revisions to the design, html/css coding to build your pages, inserting your content and launching the website. The price ranges depending on what functions you want to include and the exent of the design work you require ie logo, branding, artwork etc.
  • Wordpress Websites and Blogs typically range from $200-$800+ depending on what functionality and content you need. Wordpress websites allow users to edit content on the pages without knowledge of html. This price range is typically for a 3-8 page website with a customized theme, customized sidebar containing 3-4 widgets and 7+ activated and customized plugins. All Wordpress Websites and Blogs include: custom design, revisions to the design, html/css coding to build the pages, a 1 hour wordpress interface walkthrough, and launching of the website.
  • E-commerce Websites typically range from $800-$6,500 depending on the level of customization necessary. The most user friendly and least expensive option uses an “off the shelf” solution to get you started and customize it depending on your budget. More advanced options include more customization and design work. All E-commerce websites allow you to add products, adjust pricing, upload images, and control other features on your own without any html knowledge needed. We can also provide advanced e-commerce support including search engine optimization and online marketing tutorials.
  • Web Site Maintenance/Design and SEO: $50 US/hour We have no minimums and don’t require contracts. You are only charged for the amount of time the project takes. Examples of maintenance include:
    • Add, remove, or change text
    • Add articles, reports, ebooks or links to existing pages
    • Add logos, photographs, or images

    Maintenance services apply to changes to your existing design.

Additional costs you may need to consider

  • Domain Name: Your domain name is the address of your webpage, ie www.computerkoala.com and purchasing a domain may cost as much as $40 per year and can be done on GoDaddy.com
  • Hosting/Servers: This service is where the files for your website are held, and what makes your website visible (or serves it) to people visiting your address.
    Hosting costs $10.00/mo – $100+ depending on your hosting needs and can be purchased from a variety of sources.
  • Photos and Artwork: $15-$50 each
    Photos and artwork may be purchased for your website instead of created (which may save you $).Cost varies based on where the content is obtained. Photos liven up the site and give visual meaning to the words.
  • E-commerce platform expenses and credit card payment gateway E-commerce platforms like Shopify.com may have subscription fees from $30 and up depending on how many products you want to have on your site and what other additional features you want. In order to accept credit card payments to your company directly from your website you will also have to use a payment gateway which typically ranges from $30-60 per month.
